"Frog Hospital's" Fred Owens And "Pax" Discuss "The Economy" And Trump's "Popularity"

Image result for trump doesn't pay workers
"Payrolls grew by 200,000 last month and hourly earnings were up 2.9 percent in a sign that American workers were benefiting from a tight labor market " --- from the NYTimes
More jobs. Trump beats #MeToo with numbers like this.
Also from the NYTimes is this forecast:
"The Democrats’ impressive lead in the generic congressional ballot has slipped. Does that signal a shift?"
More jobs beats almost anything. There are people who overlook Trump's repulsive character and only count the money in their poclket....... Trump's tax cut only needs to work from now until November.
I am not persuaded by this argument. I would rather eat dirt than vote for Trump., but I look around and ask who is with me?

Fred Owens Back to the original observation about two front page stories in the NYTimes. One story said payrolls grew by 200,000, the other story said the Republican were gaining in the polls. The connection is obvious.

Alan Archibald American conservatives are unusually susceptible to bafflegab, grotesque decontextualization, whole cloth falsification, and the biblical abomination of "alternative facts," all of them necessary adjuncts of authoritarianism.

No wonder a misinformation pimp for president.
