Alan Archibald The underlying damage done by Trump is to make Americans feel justified - even virtuous - when they deny Truth or, "better yet," replace Truth with "alternative facts."

If we set aside Devious Donald's political correctness (and no one is more politically correct than "His Satanic Majesty"), we would say that "alternative facts" are lies, plain and simple, the same lies conservative parents would have once "washed out of their children's mouths with soap."

Then a good whooping.
