George Harrison Estate Slams Trump For Intellectual Property Theft. They Then Offered A Gift

After last night’s horrendous speech by Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump, and a week of hateful rhetoric, the estate for the late George Harrison immediately condemned the use of the Beatles classic. The song “Here Comes The Sun” played as Ivanka Trump walked on stage —  right before she introduced her father.
Here is the statement by a spokesman for the George Harrison Estate via Twitter:
"The unauthorized use of 'Here Comes the Sun' at the [convention] is offensive and against the wishes of the George Harrison estate," the estate's official Twitter account said.
"If it had been 'Beware of Darkness,' we might have approved it!" the estate quipped in a follow-up Tweet.
The George Harrison estate is far from being the first to condemn Donald Trump for the use of their songs. Others artists/bands/songwriters include Queen, Adele, Steven Tyler and more. Donald Trump doesn’t seem to care. But then, he doesn’t seem to care about anyone but Donald Trump.
