Alan: I do not often gloat but I am delighted by Chris Christie's fall from "grace."
As a retired teacher I will never forgive Christie - pending public confession and repentance - for publicly beating up on public school teachers.
Alan: Last night, during Day 2 ceremonies at this year's Republican National Convention, Christie not only showed his disdain for American jurisprudence by putting Hillary Clinton through a parodic form of "double jeopardy," he also gave a speech that barely mentioned Donald Trump - except in broad brush formulary ways - simultaneously doing what he does best; Self Promotion.
