Historian Simon Schama's latest book, "The Story of the Jews," is also a five-part documentary series airing on PBS. Schama talks with guest host Frank Sesno about his chronicles of the 3,000-year-old history and what being Jewish means to him.
Simon Schama
professor of art history and history, Columbia University. He is the author of 16 books and the writer-presenter of more than 40 documentaries on art, history and literature. His most recent book and documentary is "The Story of the Jews," which airs on PBS in late March and early April.
