Shame on U.S. Assault weapons bill is dead.

With a million Americans killed by handguns since 1970, the real problem is not automatic weapons.
However, our collective failure to legislate against the assault weapons that Ronald Reagan himself opposed represents a moral monstrosity unique to the United States.

"85% of the children in the world who are killed with guns are killed in the United States."
Captain Mark Kelly

If a super-abundance of guns makes us safe, why isn't the United States the safest place in the world?
