Alan: Here's what the right-wing Washington Examiner says about Trump's macro-management of the economy. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/mar/15/donald-trump-adds-1-trillion-national-debt-14-mont/
I will also mention that my brother (a financial wizard wealthy enough to hang out with billionaires) says the U.S. economy is an irrepressible force about to hit an immovable object. GJ is preparing for serious economic and political disruption - a bigger upheaval than The Great Recession with no discernible limit to the devastation it might cause.
And here is a provocative article about "the nature of capitalism itself," and how "The Big Boys" are arranging the upcoming calamity. https://eand.co/how-america-overdosed-on-capitalism-f04a510552d8
"How America Overdosed On Capitalism" calls to mind the quip: "Progress might have been alright once, but it has gone on too long."
How it came to pass that so many moany white guys became evangelically CERTAIN that a self-confessed plutocratic pig would be their savior, flummoxes me.
I'm from New York, "grew up with Trump," and it's always been clear he's a con man, a rip-off artist, a goombah and a solipsist - if not a sociopath.
If God is just, we got what we deserved.
At the end of the day -- and night is coming on fast -- let's hope God is merciful.
